The work, duties and powers of the Committee shall be as follows:-

(a) Providing necessary support and advice to the National Archives in relation to obtaining documents as per Section 6 of the Act. br> (b) To make suggestions regarding the contemporary reforms that should be done on the laws related to preservation of records and the work of the National Archives,
(c) To make suggestions to the National Archives regarding the classification of records.
